Hen House

Hen House is a feature documentary filmed over several years in Springdale, Arkansas, where immigrant poultry plant workers transform their experiences on the assembly line into original theater. As they rehearse, perform, and confront the realities of everyday life, the film follows their evolving relationships to one another, to storytelling, and to the courage it takes to step into the spotlight.

An intimate, character-driven documentary, Hen House explores how performance can reshape the way we see ourselves and what happens when ordinary people imagine new possibilities on the stage.
